You can't go wrong with whiskey and BBQ. This recipe combines both of them into a delicious and easy slider recipe that's perfect for entertaining friends and family. The best part? It only takes a few minutes of prep work. This recipe uses an economical bottom round roast. However, you can use a chuck roast, top round, shoulder roast or any other cut of beef that works great in the slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 1 beef bottom round roast (about 2-1/2 pounds)
  • 1/2 cup whiskey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Place beef Bottom Round Roast in slow cooker. Combine whiskey, vinegar, tomato paste, brown sugar, molasses, salt and pepper; pour over roast. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours, or until beef is fork-tender.
